Dan Glier, owner of Glier's Goetta, from Covington Kentucky was invited to meet with the President of the United States. http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2008/04/20080407-4.html The President's first question of Dan???????? What is goetta? Here Dan is invited to the White House, gets to meet the President, and then W hasn't got a clue what kind of product Dan makes. Glier's produces annually over 1,000,000 pounds of goetta, nearly all of that is consumed in the tristate area around Cincinnati.
