I finally tried the Wendys Junior Bacon cheeseburger for $1.00. I thought it was real good and filing, although off center of the bun, which irritates me.......LOL...........the $1.00 fries are better than McDonalds IMO.....................

Hello All, I love all of the fast food places that offer $1.00 menus. I can't eat the super-sized offerings. Take Care, Fieldthistle

Okay, lindsey, I have to agree with you there. For a buck, the Jr. bacon cheese is not bad. Wendy's is about the only place to go near my work without investing an hour or more (there's tons of places around, and tons of traffic). Between the burger, salads, chili, and fries you can build a pretty substantial meal for less than the meal deals. Actually, one of these days I should skip the burger and get a baked potato and chili with the salad. Hmm, chili stuffed potato. Then again, I do almost always carry my lunch.

Wendy's chicken things are very good with evening libation. Always ask them to drop them and you will get them hot. A nice bargain. I get them on the road when I have a desiginated driver. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN
