My grievance is we cannot gather around our Festivus Pole this holiday because it is too darn cold in our RV B Van.

Your Festivus Pole is much much to small. But none the less Merry Christmas to everyone on the forum.

              Jack,

Is that your grievance? We may have to wrestle over that if you think my Festivus pole is too small.

The airing of grievances, a Chicago tradition.

Happy Festivus for the rest of us.

                  LMAO No Thank You.

                  Some Trivia from that episode:

Frank Costanza: (An aluminum pole) Requires no decoration. I find tinsel distracting.
Kramer on strike at the bagel factory: Heyyyyyyyy no bagel, no bagel, no bagel.
George's Christmas Cards: The Human Fund. Money for People.
                  Kramer: It's a Festivus Miracle!
George: I think I could be a philanthropist. A kick ass philanthropist! I would have all this money and people would love me. Then they would come to me and beg! And if I felt like it, I would help them out and then they would owe me big time! The first thing I'm going to need is a driver...

Kramer: Yamma hamma, it's fright night!

At the Festivus dinner, Kruger refers to Kramer as "Dr. Van Nostrand", a callback to The Slicer episode. In that episode, Kramer pretends to be a dermatologist and screens Kruger for cancer.

Does anyone remember the Festivus flavor that Ben and Jerry's came out with maybe 6 or 7 years ago? Brown sugar cinnamon ice cream with gingerbread cookies and a ginger caramel swirl. It was unbelievably good!

                                Dearfolk,
Thanks for the memory! I bought five or six cartons of it while it was available (and probably gained 3 pounds in the process!). You're right, it was unbelievably good... and I for one sure wish they'd bring it back.
Should I check my nearby Kroger on my way into downtown Athens to see if it's there, or is that wishful thinking?
