I'm seeing a completely blank post.

However, a friend set up a table outside a Lane Bryant last year to sell extra boxes...apparently they did quite well.

I'm not a huge fan of the cookies, but will buy them ONLY if the Brownie/Girl Scout is selling them on her own. Meaning...if Mom or Dad hang a notice at work, I will not buy them. Also, you can also contribute a "share" (money) if you don't want the cookies.

I'll buy them if the kids come to the house but I won't eat them.

The OP may have been about this (supposedly photoshopped) picture of Girl scouts selling in front of a Pot store.

That's EXACTLY what it was supposed to be!
I tried to cut & paste the picture but it didn't take and I couldn't find the clicker to erase the post but yes, that's it! Thank You.
On another note, I saw a group of Girl Scouts out in front of a Sportsman's Warehouse Store selling Cookies BUT you could also buy a box, or more, that they would send to our troops overseas!
Last year, this particular troop sent over FIFTEEN THOUSAND BOXES to Afghanistan!
One of the Dads was a AF Reserves Pilot over there and he arranged to get them shipped over there by somehow avoiding the Red Tape in Washington and they were airlifted over remote outposts and parachuted into the troops! Yankee Ingenuity!!! The girls had pictures at their booth showing some of the actual air drops. God Bless those Girl Scouts!!
They would not disclose where this year's cookies are going because they got some flak from a local Democratic Congressman who was upset because they didn't call him so he could get his picture taken with the girls when they were packing them up to be shipped. They don't want to run the risk of his interference this year. What an ASS!

One of the casulities of the current storm is that about a half a million Girl Scout cookis are delayed a week for delivery to the Washington DC area.

Those look really good, but apparently I have to order them from somewhere else in the country. I really kind of hate that they do regional cookies. Same way I don't get why they name them different things depending on where you live. Just make cookies we can all buy, darn it!

Five bucks a box in San Francisco this year:

It's going from four to five.  The article says, “We’re betting that our customers will see the value in an extra dollar per box that they’re paying.”

Felix4067, I agree with you.  A Girl Scout official  explained to me that, unfortunately, each region picks the cookies it wants to sell.  I can't get Thanks-A-Lots in Chattanooga or Atlanta, so I have to order them from the office in Spartanburg, SC., for the love of Pete.

I bought 3 packages (they don't sell boxes here) of new varieties. Each of them was lousy. I'll stick with the classics from now on.

"Ever wondered why the same cookie may have two different names? And why can't you get the same cookies everywhere? The answer is simple. Girl Scout Cookies are baked in two different bakeries, ABC/Interbake Foods and Little Brownie Bakers. Although, there are some differences you should always be able to find Thin Mints, Do-Si-Dos (Peanut Butter Sandwiches) and Trefoil (Shortbread) cookies."
    I just polished off 1/2 a box of Do-Si-Do's!

Best ones ever are the Caramel Delights/Samoas. And if this recipe works, I am in big trouble.
