Good hotdogs in Nashville

I had a couple of pretty good hotdogs today at a fairly new place near downtown. It is called Hot Diggity Dogs and is at 614 Ewing Ave. The dogs were pretty tasty and the fries looked really good, but I didn't try them. My only complaint: when I requested spicy mustard I meant instead of yellow mustard rather than in addition to yellow mustard. Apparently I needed to specify. All-in-all I liked this place. They even have a nice little deck out back that was perfect on a warm spring day. Anyone in the Nashville area should give this place a whirl.

There's a little hot dog stand east of Gallatin, at the corner of highways 25 and 231. It's seasonal and hasn't yet opened for the year, but the man does a fair job, and I patronize him whenever I can.

I ate here again today and saw a sign proclaiming that they serve Vienna Beef hotdogs. I had never had one before eating at Hot Diggity Dogs and I now understand what everyone raves about.

Wonder if it is the same folks?
