I will be in the Hocking Hills area this Saturday. We are looking for a good place to get a burger and a milkshake. { No chain restaurants} We will be traveling on 33. We are taking a picnic lunch to Hocking Hills, so this will be for dinner. Any suggestions? Thanks !!

I'm partial to Bush's Restaurant in Logan, Ohio. They made and served me a custom breaded pork tenderloin sandwich even though it was not on the menu. It's an inexpensive independent family restaurant with burgers. http://www.bushsrestaurant.com/

Don't know if it's close enough to Hocking Hills for you, but there's always Sumburger in Chillicothe. :) http://www.sumburger.com/index.html The sumburger is along the lines of a Frisch's Big Boy, and I recall that their chocolate malts are good. Ditto the strawberry pie.
