Gordonsville, VA Fried Chicken

I'm looking for the recipe for the batter dipped fried chicken they are known for. Gordonsville is known as the Fried Chicken Capital of the World. Anyone from there or near there or knows the recipe?? Thanks for your help!!! Recipe dates back to the 1840's.
