Try Hot Dog plus in Niles, Michigan, they are located on south 11th Street, about 1 1/2 blocks south of WalMart. There dogs are Awesome.

And the Hamburges and soup is good too!

If in Pittsburgh (the usual preface to most of my postings) - The Original Hot Dog Shop aka "The O" or "The Dirty O", located in the Oakland neighborhood of city in middle of Pitt campus. They make their own, natural casing so they're nice and crunchy on the outside, and you can get them with what may be the worlds BEST fries....double cooked (blanched, then fried fresh) in peanut oil. These are cut from real potatoes (you can see the bags behind the fry area). And remember to go there at about 2 am - that's when it gets really fun! Many interesting people to meet.

their dogs and fries are great. I've never been there at 2AM........at that point we used to head straight for Pittsburgh's "Strip District" and have a big pastrami sandwich at Primanti Bros.

Hot Dog Heaven uses the wrong pickles on it's Chicago dog. Can't be a Vlassic. We use more of a Claussen style garlic spear, or a "new pickle". Kosher pickles also.
