"Great Lakes" Hot Dogs Sun, 01/2/05 11:23 PM (permalink)
When I was growing up in Detroit, I seem to recall that the Coney Islands served a hot dog brand called Great Lakes. But today, I cannot seem to find the brand, so maybe my memory has failed me. Does anyone know the brand name of the hot dogs served at the Coney Islands in Detroit. The only "Michigan brand" I know is Koegel's, but my impression is that only the Coney Islands in Flint serve that brand -- or is that the brand in Detroit, too?
