"Life is tough, tougher if you're stupid."

"What we have here is a failure to communicate."

"Badges?  Badges?  We don't need no stinkin' badges!"

"Boy, giraffes are selfish, just running around looking out for number one, getting hit by lightning,"

Just like Bogie never said "play it again Sam" in Casablanca, in the Treasure of Sierra Madre another Bogie flix- the Mexican bandits never said "we don't need no stinkin' badges",  another classic misquote

Also:

"What we got here is...failure to communicate" Strother Martin never said "a failure".

The line in my earlier quote "...We don't need no stinkin' badges" is not from the Treasure of Sierra Madre but rather a much more recent movie: Blazing Saddles.

Have a great day.

Indeed, however keep in mind that Blazing Saddles is a parody of western movies and Mel Brooks was alluding to that famous scene in Treasure, throughout the film there are dozens of others allusions and parodies, 2 of my preferred are Count Basie in the desert and the Mongo Santamaria quote

How could I forget not to mention my favorite, MOST memorable quote from this CLASSIC movie, BLAZING SADDLES----
My most memorable quote of ALL Movies of ALL time--
The Scene: The Preacher standing on the Hilltop before the Townspeople built the Faux Town--"O Lord, do we have the strength to carry off this mighty task in one night? Or are we just jerking off?"
A close second maybe Bluto's Comment in Animal House---  Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!:

Actually, in Mel Brooks' movie "Blazing Saddles"  the Mexican bandits did in fact say "Badges, Ha Ha, We don't need no stinkin' Badges!"

Bigbear's signature line over at eGullet

"I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members." -- Groucho Marx

Another Groucho story: He's in Rome, and has just lit a very expensive cigar. Somebody jostles him from behind, and the cigar drops out of his mouth into the gutter. He bends to pick it up -- it is, after all, very expensive, and says, "Jesus Christ."

When he stands up, he turns to see who bumped him and sees a priest, who is offering him a new cigar saying, "Groucho, you just said the secret word."

One more: Groucho is a guest at a country club. He starts to go into the pool to cool off, but is stopped by a staff member who says he can't get in the pool because he's Jewish. Groucho pauses, looks at the guy and says, "My daughter's only half Jewish. Can she go in up to her knees?"

Something like: "You Japs ain't gettin' sh*t outta me"  - Slim Pickens in "1941" as he sat on the toilet surrounded by Japanese military.
