Not to overdo this chile thing, but I made myself a delicious sandwich for lunch today: warm flour tortilla with cheese + one fresh roasted green chile. The market had poblanos so I used that instead of Hatch/Chimayo and it was really good!!! A little less spicy flavor, more smoky taste.mmmmmm

No, not a quesidilla nor a Napoleon.
I didn't grill it the way a quesidilla is made. I just warmed up the tortilla for a few seconds in the microwave - took it out put on a piece of cheese and a chile and ate it. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Count me in as another "some one". I sure the heck don't know what you are talking about. Quesidilla is grilled, NYNM made a warm wrap which sounds good BTW.

I know what a quesedilla is. I used to live in Texas, and I make them muyself. I posted a line from a movie.

Apparently you all don't watch movies, and attempts at humor are wasted here. I would suggest you try renting "Napoleon Dynamite", but it's a comedy and might confuse you both, since there's no laugh track.

Are you sure you haven't seen the movie? Napoleon likes to use the word heck... "Heck yes!" "What the heck are you doing...?" "How the heck are you going to..?"

Ok, I never saw that movie but it sounds fun!

I just saw some kind of green chile, cheese, tortilla, burger kind of thing advertised on TV. Might be a good idea if done right.

If its in the same vein as the rest of the mental pablum that passes for comedic movies lately I probably wont even watch it on cable..

I use wraps in place of bread quite often, the roasted green chile sounds good but what kind of cheese?

Montery Jack always sounds good w/ green chiles to me. Or, some of that white mexican cheese would be even beter maybe?.

Hey, I just took a piece of American cheese to make my sandwich. And it wasn't really a wrap, it was sort of a fold....(but not a quesidella becuase I didn't grill it...) (is this becoming a little circular?)

Anyway, last night one of the talk radio shows from Albuquerque had its "Annual Green Chile Call-in Show". The questions were: when do you buy your green chile? where? how much? what kind? (Hatch, Chimayo, Socorro, etc) and last: what is the first thing you make with it? The last called said: Mix it with cheese and a little salt...yup, its that season!
