Green Chile Pizza....

I'm in Santa Fe, NM for a few days and just had a delicious slice of "vegetable" pizza with green chile included (also tomato, mushroom, onion, etc.) It was delicious and added a nice kick to the taste. The restaurant that served it is called "Upper Crust Pizza" and has won "Best Pizza" awards. I know that green chile (not jalapeno) is a Santa Fe thing, but I was wondering if anyone had it in pizza outside of New Mexico?

Is that the place on Old Santa Fe Trail? Have always driven by but never think of having pizza while in Santa Fe, sounds wonderful! Usually too busy eating at The Shed or Tia Sophia so I will try next visit just for this! Thanks!

Yes, that is the place. On the corner of DeVargas (The "Oldest Street" in USA, North America, NM or someplace), just across from San Miguel Church (The "Oldest Church" in NM, The Universe or someplace...) The best pizza is with crunch whole wheat crust. They do a gook Greek pizza (feta, olives, etc.) also calzones, stromboli, etc. But the winner is that green chile! Try it next time!
