 Was reading a bit before actually signing up and found a lot of helpful tips. I am new to the business and very eager and excited to learn and grow. My main question is:
 
How do you go about asking for permission to set up your cart? 
 
I want to mostly target the night life here in Scottsdale.
 
Any and all help, tips, and tricks are welcomed

You better check the rules in Scottsdale. They're very strict on carts as in "No Carts"!
Unless things have changed recently, The local established restaurants have killed any opportnity for carts.

I got in touch with the police department to see what was allowed. And in which they said I could vend on private property with. Written consent of the manager/ owner.

My question now is what's the best way to go about this?

I'd check with the Health Dept FIRST, NOT the Police Dept. Go door to door if the HEALTH DEPT gives you the Green Light. 

Thanks for the advice. The cart I run is already lisenced with the HD with a push cart permit
