Griddle hood ?

I'm almost done with the trailer just a few more things to do. I need to put a hood over my griddle I need a 48" hood any suggestions ? I priced the one in town 1500 plus the stack I do not need a suppression system,My fire mashal said I do not even need the commercial hood I could use a household stove hood. But just wanted to see what everyone was using out there.

I have to install one of these too. Do we need that big, vent looking thingy on the outside/roof as well or is a hood venting through the side of the trailer enough?

Hi Roger, Debbie and I will be flying to New York to pick up our rig, but that's not till April so I'm guessing you want to get your hood setup before then...did you find anything out about 'self-contained mobile kitchen' vs. commisary?

No I have not found anything out about that yet ,I called but they never returned my call about that yet. Yep will need the hood before then .We are going to install the griddle next week.

Thanx for posting the pix in the other thread! I hadn't seen them before...
Good luck with the griddle, I'm jealous you are so far along. Hey, did you check out Hood Mart yet? I think they are the same peeps who advertise on eBay, I saw lots of hoods on there the other day.
If you need us to pick up some extra gear for you when we go to the 48, let me know - we will probably have some extra room. Our plan is to pick up reefer gear at a shop in Wisconsin, some stuff in Chicago, etc. before heading across to Portland, then back to AK. So if you find any deals in Seattle of anywhere else, let me know.
