Gummi Bears or Swedish Fish? Sat, 08/20/05 8:34 AM (permalink)
Which did you / do you prefer: Gummi Bears or Swedish Fish?
From childhood to this day I prefer Swedish Fish by a wide margin. I like their texture much better than the Gummi Bears.

Gummi Bears from Germany, Swedish Fish from Sweden (I guess...) and what about Juicy Fruit from USA? JuJubees are a cousin...
Personally, I didn't like any of them.....they stuck to my braces...

That's a rather pretentious proclamation.......furthermore, if one does not want to discuss Gummi Bears & Swedish fish one need not click on the link to the post.......

Gummi Bears. Whenever I worked at Cracker Barrel, me and my fellow cashiers rarely got our promised meal breaks. So we would pool our money, buy a half pound or pound of Gummi Bears and nibble surreptiously whenever we could.

To me, Swedish Fish (especially the kind Cracker Barrel sold) always taste stale.

Swedish fish have both texture and flavor.

Gummi Bears must have been a joke on us and we (not me) fooled them by repeated purchases.

                I don't understand it.

How come no one mentioned the berry drops with the little red and purple balls all over them?

Almost as good as the fish.

Definitely Swedish fish. But it has to be the smaller red kind, not the bigger ones they have been making in various colors. They used to be penny candy, lol. LONG time ago
