Gut-busting hot dogs

At the KCK Cabela's yesterday someone was selling giant hot dogs from a grill on the sidewalk. These hound dawgs must have weighed a pound apiece. Seriously. People were lining up to buy them. I was on my way to dinner, so I didn't participate. But I wanted to!
Is this a new product just to me?
