I had my winter tenderloin at Dooley O'Tooles in Carmel, IN ten days ago and then followed up with another one at the Austin Grill in Springfield, VA. This year we will be in Springfield, IL the week before The Race for an RV rally and then head over to Indy. So will be sampling some Illinois tenderloins as well. I am open to new suggestions but will be making at least one trip to the Working Man's Bar on Belmont. It has been over 40 years since I last went into a bar in my old stomping grounds.

If you can make it up to the Peoria area (about 75 miles north of Springfield, and right on I 74, which goes directly to Indianapolis) we have a tenderloin for you to try at Bemer's Village Inn in Spring Bay.  Spring Bay is about 10 miles north of Peoria on the east side of the Illinois River on IL 26 (a.k.a.
