Happy Charleys

New here so....... I was researching some of the things I remember as a kid and stumbled on the discussion about Red Barn restuarants. I enjoyed reading it as info on them are few and far between and I do remember one outside of Cleveland Oh as a kid.

Which brings me to my posted topic. On Euclid Avenue in Willoughby Ohio was a restuarant called "Happy Charleys" Or maybe Happy Charlies.

I've not been able to find any info on it anywhere. I was young but it seemed like a chain type of restuarant. What I recall of it was the mascot, if that's what you want to call him, was a grinning smiling Buddha. I recall them handing out 2-3 inch tall plastic ones.

I'm not even sure if it was a burger place. Any help?
