Hardee's Steak Biscuit Tue, 12/5/06 3:25 PM (permalink)
In the past I have lived in and traveled through areas with Hardee's restaurants, although where I live now the closest Hardess is over 600 miles away.

Whenever I had access to Hardee's in the past, their breakfast steak biscuit for me was the ultimate guilty pleasure. A tender juicy deep fried beef patty on a Hardee's biscuit.

I recently was in PA and found a Hardee's at breakfast time, and was surprised to see that they no longer had the steak biscuit on the menu. I tried the pork chop biscuit, but it was awful.

Just wondering if anyone else likes these, and if they are completely gone or are they still available in some Hardee's locations?

Hardee's Steak Biscuit is my favorite (Huntsville, AL). I had one this am for breakfast with lots of mustard. So far (and lucky for me)I am still able to order the steak biscuit. Hope they don't discontinue it. I use to only order the steak sandwich from Sonic (it was delicious) and they stopped serving it, and now they only serve foot long hotdogs not regular ones.

Now that you mention it, I have not seen them in Knoxville for a while.

I sure do like their sausage and bisquit though.

Wow!!1 Thank you sincerely for the very helpful advice. I guess I thought that I enjoyed Hardee's biscuit sandwiches, but you are absolutley right!! I have seen the error of my ways and will never consume any food from Hardee's again, even if I have the opportunity. Many thanks!!!!

The Hardee's steak biscuit is actually pretty good, except they nickle & dime you on the prices. I got one the other day with added egg and one piece of "cheese". Egg 45 cents, cheese 30 cents. Slathered with mustard, it was passable. The McDonald's steak biscuit WAS better, when they offered one.

I think there is confusion here. Hardee's ONCE offered a steak biscuit (similar to what McDonald's once offered). The Hardee's steak biscuit NOW is a "CFS" biscuit. The old style steak biscuit was a bit better than what now is currently offered, IMO.

I remember first getting the "CFS" steak biscuits at Hardees over 20 years ago. That is the only type that I personally have ever had there.

I have never seen the McD's steak biscuit...around here they do offer a steak egg and cheese bagesl the steak is grilled not fried. I know that McD's seems to offer biscuit sandwiches in the south that they do not up here, like a chicken filrt biscuit adn ham biscuit.

I am feeling left out. Our Hardee's (one block from my home) does not offer any kind of steak biscuit, chicken fried or otherwise.

They do, however, offer a smoked sausage breakfast sandwich.

No. You talk of the original style. There is a NEW one (variety) which is round. The original was somewhat hour-glass shaped.
