Went to my local Hardees this morning to get biscuits for my crew at work.Only two cars ahead of me in the drive-thru and I thought this was going good.Took almost twenty minutes to get food after ordering.Cashier said it was just one of those mornings.I keep saying thats the last time, but i do like their breakfast buscuits. Just ranting.

I have always loved their mushroom burgers but haven't had one in a long while now.

I am planning on going to Hardee's for breakfast tomorrow, it is a few blocks away and I walk every morning. I also like the biscuits, and have heard that they use the cinnamon raisin biscuit mix from Southeastern Mills, although I wonder as the mix seems to no longer be available in stores, etc. I will see if the biscuits taste the same to me. I do not like raisins but like the cinnamon raisin bisuits at Hardees and Litttle Debbie raisin creme pies.. go figure. I like the mushroom swiss burger also, the sauce has a bit of an unusual taste to it, and I have never been able to figure out what the mystery ingredients might be.

There is always always ALWAYS a wait at the Hardees that is half a block from me. I think it's because they make everything to order now. I get the egg & cheese biscuit (no meat, that way they have to make it fresh) and have them do decaf & milk in the same cup. Hardee's Latte. Every time I go there, yes, there is a wait, but you can't tell me their biscuits are comparable to McD's or to the Croissanwich.

I love the made-from-scratch biscuits and sausage gravy at Hardee's, and I rarely make a southern roadtrip without at least one breakfast there. However, I'm very unhappy about the company's boneheaded decision to replace the Hash Rounds with those lousy Country Potatoes; they're just awful. I've let Hardee's management know my feelings on this subject a number of times, and I intend to keep reminding them until they bring the Hash Rounds back ( yeah, I know... lotsa luck, huh? )

I will try their biscuits....If I can find one near us. We had one, but it folded. Never had sausage gravy in all the years I have lived in Florida. I love to watch them make it though. DDD has had several shows that featured versions of it. I just love watching Guy eat that stuff. He does love it. One thing I did notice was that it appears to be quite unhealthy. An unusually high amount of fat in that gravy Hey, that's why they invented Lipatore! So do you think Hardee's makes their gravy on site or is it shipped in and just heated up? I'm guessing someone makes it for them and it comes in plastic bags..Maybe reheatable in hot water? Anyone ever work at Hardee's?

I used to get the biscuits & gravy in HS & college, I got it recently & it wasn't the same as I remembered it. Baah, I am guessing no on the homemade gravy. You'd have to take the sausage drippings, mix in the flour & milk & etc. I'm thinking it's more like you would take a scissors & cut the corner off the bag & heat it in a double boiler so it wouldn't burn. The sausage there is better than McDonald's (I order it about once every 2 years, then remember why I didn't, but Hardee's sausage is spicier, and I would order it more often if not for the sodium). Bob, I didn't know they changed the potatoes, I will have to check it out. Be persistent, when they got rid of the curley fries, I filled out a bunch of customer comment cards & they did eventually bring em back.

I must say the Hardees close to me is really quite good. They do make everything to order, so be ready to wait.. They give you a number to put on the table and a server brings you your food. It shows in the taste. I will always prefer non chain places, but if in a strange area or just need a burger close by... I will be at Hardees.. Nocarolia,, I got Biscuitville a mile from home and Hardees 2 miles.. tough call on the best biscuit and gravy between the two. Nothing beats Grandma's hehe

I had the country potatoes this morning & they were awesome. Very different from anything else that any other place has. I thought they would go great with your biscuits & gravy. I would have torn up the biscuit, poured the potatoes on top & poured the gravy all over that. What was it about them that you didn't like? "Just awful" is not very descriptive.

I tried Hardee's new Southwestern Chicken Salad last week. The salad was pretty standard, okay enough. The best part was the dressing, which had a nice zing. All in all an okay meal. Then I made the mistake of looking up the nutritional information online. 1020 calories! 80 grams of fat! I wished I'd looked that up before I ate it. My fault for buying, and eating it all (I was starving), but I won't be making that mistake again.

Hardees had a good steak & onions salad back in the day. Bob, I got the potatoes again, these were not hot & I could kinda see what you meant.
