Harman Killebrew was a home run hitter before the drug era. Big, strong 1st baseman who went to the plate and dared pitchers to throw one past him. Good man. RIP Harman.

Just read the article and saw the picture of the stadium seat mounted to the wall in the middle of the log flume ride in Mall of America. The seat is mounted where Killebrew's 522 foot homer landed in the old met stadium. In the photo it looks like a barbie sized chair compared to the "mountain" of the log flume http://sports.yahoo.com/m...te-to-H?urn=mlb-wp6755 RIP KILLER!!

Great slugger. Lived along the Oregon-Idaho border much of his adult life so we try to claim him as an Oregonian. met him a couple times and he was modest but proud of his accomplishments. Rest in peace, Harmon.

Listening to the Senators on radio as a kid the many times thr Killer would homer, then immediately followed by Bob Allison's homer, would become a lasting memory, another hero lost!
