Ok, you do have a few choices. New Buffalo Restaurant, just north of the junction with US 322. Just a bit farther up the road, Angies Diner (doesnt really look like a diner, it suffers from a 70's remodel with a mansard roof) they have a Sunoco mini-mart next door. Then you have a ways to go till you reach the Selisngrove/Shamokin Dam area. In Shamokin Dam you have the 4 Seasons Diner/Family Restaurant (which doesn't look at all like a diner either, actually the building was originally the Dutch Pantry It is across from Ruby Tuesdays and SuperPetz.

None of these are really outstanding for any one menu item, but, all have good food and none are 'chains'.

Hope this is some use to you.

Dan, Thanks. What, no cheesesteaks? I wasn't really expecting any, it is pretty far out in the boonies. I'm sure your suggestings will be good.

There are a few good bars along the way that have good food (can't remember the names) but you can't miss them. Also, a neat bar and grill in Selins Grove that has excellent burgers and fries (on the right side of the main street just before the bridge heading north in Selins Grove. Also, a good ice cream place in Lewis burg (again on the right heading north) which is a long-time favorite. Too bad Biff burger is no longer there.

My son attended Bucknell and we used to dine at Teddy's Landing in Selingsgrove. It's right on 15 and hard to miss. In the spring they offered Shad Roe, one of my favorites.
