Sounds good. Who knows what their Jersey Shore fries are. They're probably just trying to capitalize on a name. Fries are usually served with ketchup or cheese. Fries down the Jersey Shore usually are served with salt and vinegar.

Me and two friends went there the other day (Sunday 02/20/11) for lunch. The Sunday Brunch service was wrapping up and we were the first people to take seats at the bar. I ordered the "Jim Cramer Burger" medium rare and a pint of Allagash White. My other buddy ordered the hotdog, the third person was there for the liquid. The burger came out in no time and it was amazing. Cooked perfectly to order with a nice airy bun. The fries were pretty darn good as well, nothing fancy, just thick rectangle fries with some sea salt on them. Unfortunately I did not take any pictures, but I do plan to return shortly, perhaps during happy hour so I can get a better feel for the establishment, couldn't really form an opinion with brunch clearing out and no one else there. Next up... lamb burger! But if you are in the area, it is definitely worth the trip for the food, I cant make a recommendation on the atmosphere, will report back....

For those curious about why the Hat Tavern names a burger after Wall Street Maven Jim Cramer-Jim is a Summit resident, and is a partner in The DeBary House, a bed and breakfast at the opposite end of town from the Summit Hotel. I stlll haven't made it there, I'll try this week.

What is it with this LaFrieda burger blend? Is it that good? If so what makes it so.

FreshDirect sells three of the LaFrieda, made into patties, and specially packaged for freshness. They now deliver to my part of NJ, so I get them every few weeks, my kids are turning into burger snobs.
