AaronM Has anyone here ever made Haupia? I LOVED it. I want to try to make it but am afraid it won't turn out as good as it was in Hawaii. Haupia is very easy to make. Just make sure you use coconut milk, not coconut cream (like coco lopez). Or you could ask your brother to send you some of this.

What a fun and interesting report.I am not familiar with foods from Hawaii, so this was a wonderful learning experience.Oh, what I wouldnt give to be there right now enjoying a few spring rolls...

I'm sorry I missed this report the first time around. looks like great food and i recall a couple of the spots were on Man Vs food.

MC, I missed it also, The pictures are great, I'll be there in Dec and plan on looking into a few of these. I used to live there, I would say this poster did his home work before the left..............Great report.....BillyB
