There is a bandana you can get that you put in the freezer for about half hr. it does a great job keeping you cool, wear it around your neck. Exhaust fans, If you have room, regular fans. I also have a large air conditioner in mine, still on hot days it's hot!

We have a couple of the tower fans at home and they do a good job and don't take up so much room. Cakes

108F is typical in the summer months, even with the air conditioning. Big ol' fans help move the air, and I make sure everyone is drinking plenty of fluids. I also picked up some of these: http://tinyurl.com/3kcrwm

Old Army cook taught me this one. Make a few long cucumber peels and put them in ice water. Plaster one from temple to temple across your forehead. When it dries out, put it back and get another one. You will be amazed at how it cools you off. Truth is stranger than fiction.

Put a towel in cold water and ring it out. Put it around your neck. This will cool you quick. With the towel being cold and basic evaportation its going to keep you cool. When you get warm, put the towel back in ice water ring out and go again. RJF

In Boston the temp in my kitchen would often get to 130 degrees. We had to wet kitchen towels and put them in the freezer. When frozen, we would put them on our heads and necks to cool down. I often looked like the "Flying Nun" but it worked.

Are you talking home or business?? If it's that hot at home, get a new stove! I have a flat top, live in Florida and rarely drop my AC any lower than 78.
