Help me plan my vacation destination!

My boyfriend and I are taking off tomorrow! First time in a long time that we've been able to just load up and go WHEREVER! He would like to go to one of the following: Buloxi, Gulfport(or both)or New Orleans. Main motive?? CASINOS! Can anyone offer any insight to the location that can offer casino's, good food and decent lodging?? It's been several years that we've gone to any of these locations, especially since the hurricanes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I think you might be safe with any of the above. The casinos were reopened before many of the other business in that area. Not sure if that's a good thing or not but at least It helped bring money back to that area. Chow Jim

I left you a message in the New Orleans thread under where should I eat.

I realize this may be a bit too late to help with this vacation, but Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana have great casinos (boats) together with wonderful restaurants and shopping on the Boardwalk.

Just seeing this, but hope you checked out the Beau Rivage in Biloxi.

Hey all I'm back. We went to Buloxi, did most of our gambling at Hard Rock(won a whole $420) and ate the buffet there, not too great. We were excited they had prime rib but it tasted more like ham. Wouldn't recommend it. Did a little gambling at Boomtown, their buffet was better, the king crab was wonderful but I can say that I've eaten more seafood than one deserves last week and it'll be awhile before I'll want anymore!
