Help with a place in Maryland

I can't remember the town. It's north of DC on Rt 1. The name, I believe, is Franklins. They make their own root beer. Anybody been there and can make a review?

Franklin's is in Hyattsville on US 1 (Baltimore Ave) - north of DC, south of College Park. It's a brewpub. I went there several years ago and we had a good time. food was good, atmosphere was good, and we were shocked because Hyattsville was not known a a cool hip place to go. Today, the immediate area is really beginning to grow and show signs of life. Some more establishments, some condos and townhomes, some shopping has begun to spring up. Making a nice hip alternative to the college bar scene of College Park. They have a "general store" in the front, which only slightly less kitchy than Cracker Barrel. The bar area has happy hour specials. Their own bres plus lots of other microbrews. We ate a late late dinner and the place was still hoping. It's worth the stop, IMO.

That's the place. I was there once and could not remember much other than the crab cakes were real good. Thanks for verifying and the review Scorereader!
