Hershey's Take 5 Bar Tue, 03/1/05 8:26 PM (permalink)
Well, the power of commercials hooked me into trying this new amalgam of peanuts, pretzels, caramel and peanut butter covered in chocolate. I open the wrapper, and it's actually a pack of two individual clusters, like turtles. But it was all my favorite flavors, and I was hooked instantly. Eat your heart out PayDay... Hershey just invented a new salty-sweet confection!

I actually walked to the store today to grab a small supply for whenever I have a craving. I hope it's not discontinued after a month or two. Anyone else tried it yet? What do you think?

Just yesterday I was in a conversation where I announced the "Take 5" as my all time favorite candy bar. the mix between the salty pretzel and penuts along with the sweet chocolate and caramel make it the perfect mix of flavor and texture. I agree it will surely be a sad day in my life if they stop producing them.

Its salty, sweet, crunchy, chewy, and chocolate. What have they left out. I think it is a smart product development and I am became a fan at first bite.

Of course, a bar of bittersweet is still a force to be reckoned with.

I gotta admit..........I'm a real fan of these also. I'm not sure what draws me so much, as I've had other local creations that were quite similar and not given them a second thought......but Take 5............Bravo, Hershey!

They're giving away 5,000,000 Take 5 candy bars while supplies last.

Last night was the last session of the semester for my college class. The bookstore on campus was giving away "Take 5's" as a Cinco de Whatever gimmick . I managed to get a bag full (24) of the little devils. I agree with all of the positive reviews listed above. I really do try to limit my intake of chocolate candy...but not this time ! This is one Very Good little candy bar.
P S- My grades are turned in, the students are all gone, no incompletes to wait on... I'm done for another year. Now to get ready for the Alaska Journey.
