Hobart Knockoff Rotary Slicers Sat, 01/15/11 6:34 PM (permalink)
Recently there's been a lot of no name Hobart 600 series light duty slicer copies being sold by restaurant supply vendors under various names. Has anyone had any experience with one of these? I used to be leary of Chinese knockoffs, especially for parts and quality. My experience recently has been much the opposite and for that matter most of the original products are also made in China too. I've purchased several pieces under Adcraft and Advantco and have found the quality and construction to be on par with products 2-3x as much.
