OMG. I cant belive it. Hey all, its been a while and I just had to shear this, if any of you can get your cart to any ToysRUs you will make a killin... today I went just to give it a try. I made $245.00 in 6 hours.... wooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

well, I just set up in the parking, its a superparking, and maybe b/c I am in PuertoRico its diffrent. Then again, I didnt ask for permission, I just went, set up, sold, and left lol

We will be setting up at K-Mart as of Wednesday. We asked permission.

Hey thesuperdogpr...If you were there for 6 hours, then at some point, management MUST have known you were there and obviously it did not bother them. I wish you continued success, my fellow dogger!!

We asked the manager, or rather one of them. This K-Mart doesn't have a restaurant inside it. That may have helped.

Thanks, lornaschinske. I think the one's near me also have no restaurant. Oh, wait...one of them has a Little Ceasar's Pizza. Anyway...thank you for the help. It is so funny two weeks ago I did the exact same thing, I call it "wildcatting" I went to my local Lowes on Small Business Saturday and set up on the outer fringes of their parking lot, Sold from 11am to 2pm and raked in $348.00 net profit. I had in previous months tried going through the corporate office and was totally ignored. Even the people at StreetEats ignored me, so I said to hell with it. I am going to go "wildcatting" and set up anyhow. What the worse that might happen, they ask me to leave, fine, no prob it takes me about 15 minutes to pack up and leave without a trace.

thats what I'm talking about righthandfan lol. you try to be nice and do things the right way, and it seems not to work. sad to make a honest days work, you have to bend the rules.

The K-Mart here just remodeled and now there's a HUGE Nathans Hot Dog stand where there used to be a big generic concession stand inside the store. They've been doing mailings every week announcing it.

My health department wants us vendors to pay $155 for every place we go with our cart.......Kmart $155 Toys R us $155 Holiday Bazaar $155 do you see a pattern of how much I payout in a month? and that $155 is only good for 21 days...at each location...

What county are you in?  Seems they are charging you for a temporary permit.
You can have a full year permit and have multiple locations. Better check into it.

I pay my HD $40.00 a year and I can go anywhere in the state. Includes all inspections.

I pay $95 a year and can go anywhere in my one town. In Massachusetts every town licenses separately, there is no state-wide license. The $95 annual fee does not cover the $100 fee per inspection.

$200 for state (although we paid $250...not sure why) plus Roswell wants $25 per month for the city business permit. Tomorrow, David is going to set up down near the UFO museum (down town) since we have been trying to get contacted with the person who makes the decisions since we got here  (since Dec 13th). Apparently no one in this town is willing to return phone calls. We are tired of "playing by the rules" when no one else does. We are fully permitted, David will just set up in the parking lot of a vacant building.

I did it again, this time I didnt make $245.00, but I did make $196.00 on a major roadway. It was last saturday and I set up next to a fruit and vegetabale vendor.

Today, David got run off from his location. seems that Subway bought the empty building who's parking lot he was set up in. So tomorrow, he will check with another place. He still has the option of setting up at the gas station. But we would prefer a place closer to us, not the other side of town.
