Anybody doing this?

FIRST off I need to make these on a hot plate not in an oven.

I've found some recipes that I think will work for strawberry and chocolate and possibly peach.

I'm trying to figure out something with apples, peaches, and cherries. Something with a glaze and chunks of fruit.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

You don't make funnel cakes in an oven. You make funnel cakes by dropping the batter in a free-form lattice-type pattern into hot oil.

Not the funnel cakes...I'm talking about making homemade fruit toppings.

Where are you going to be selling your funnel cakes. My personal opinion is you are going to have way to many toppings. Powder Sugar and Cinnamon, should be your best sellers. How much will you be selling your cakes for and how much for toppings

          Festivals, events, whatever.

          My plan was $4 plainw/powdered sugar/cinnamon
          $5 fruit/chocolate topping/whipped cream

I need to settle on some recipes and work the cost out.

Although it wouldn't be "homemade", why don't you use #10 cans of fruit pie filling for your fruit toppings to save time? Or at least start with the pie fillings and "play around with them"?

I want to put out a better product. If I can't do it and be cost effective then so be it, but my goal is to put out a better product so I stand out.

I want people to ask my customers "Hey where did you get that? That looks good!"

              Thanks
