Honey bees

Years ago I use to see honey bees constantly.  I had to be careful when I was young walking in the yard.  I would get stung because when I was young, I walked barefoot in the yard.

It has been several years since I have seen them but today I saw several working my gladolias.  I kept watching to see which way they would fly but they outwaited me.

I understand a mite has devastated many hives.  It was sorta good to see them.  It brought back some fond and not so fond memories.

Actually, nobody really knows what the cause is, although there are a number of theory's. Here's a good starting point: http://en.wikipedia.org/w...lony_collapse_disorder
