Lindsey, I can't find any refference to Hooker's Hamburgers in Port Huron either. Being in da UP you can still get a darn good burger at Clyde's On US-2 just west of I-75

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I remember Clyde's from 20 years ago. Something like the Big Chief burger, fries, and a milkshake. My mother lived in the UP, and I would make the trek from the Detroit suburbs in the summer. Talk about memories. After Clyde's,I would stop at this pasty place that was named Leto's (or something like that) and pick up a few pasties. It was on the south side of US-2 and wasn't much in the way of atmosphere. Anyway, back to Clyde's. I can picture it from 1750 miles away. Almost the perfect roadside tourist drive-in. Charles Las Vegas, NV

I'll contact my uncle that lives in Port Huron and report back.
