I was in Philadelphia recently, ate at a buffet called Hosses, I think that's the correct spelling, it was the absolute worst crap I've ever had, a soup and salad bar, all you can eat, you order your entree, the place was packed, I was shocked that so many people seemed to enjoy the swill the were served. Evidently this is a family owned chain, East coast. Serve dog food, seems to be the way to go at a Hoss. Anyone else tried this laughably rotten place?

There was a thread on Hoss's back in February/March:

I ate at one in Pennsylvania a while back; saw a sign for it on an Interstate and I was lost and hungry. If you know ahead of time you are in for a clone of Ponderosa/Bonanza, you steel yourself for it. If you were expecting a quality steak house, you will be disappointed.
