I recently discovered 2 Different types of relish that are outstanding on Hot Dogs. Hot Pepper Relish and Sweet'n Hot bell pepper Relish. Both are made by Mezzetta and available at Albertson's and World Market

The Sweet'n Hot bell pepper relish simply rules. If I have some that is the only topping I put on a dog.

Don't forgetta Mazzetta! Been usin' it for years but here in NoCal it's a local product. As a change of pace, I also like Chicago-style giardiniera (not the same thing as the stuff sold in most supermarkets outside the Chicago area): http://www.hotsauceworld.com/ilprimgiar16.html

This is the traditional Vienna Chicago Style Relish. People always question it's neon green color. It's a sweet relish. If you want hot, add two sport peppers to your dog.

Love Mezzetta's products in general---also VERY fond of Mrs Renfro's out of Texas---especially the spicy Chow Chow!!!! of coures--nothing beats Noni's homemade piccalilli!!! (my aunt still mkaes it occasionally---think it might be a good idea to get that recipe soon!)
