Just curious what brand name do vendors use for their rolls. Do you buy different lenghts of rolls depending on the size of the dog?

HotDog Annies (Leicestr Mass) uses Sunbeam as a large sign proudly states. Another guy that I go to has used both Wonder and Nissen. My local grocery store carries footlong Nissen seasonally to go with the footlong Essem franks that they sell by the pound. All are New England style, split top, and are made, so I am told in the same bakery.

I operate a cart in downtown saint petersburg,Fl. Every cart here uses buns from the local bakery thrift store. All bread here seems to be stale from any grocery store or thrift store no matter the date.I have been using Martin's brand potato rolls. They truck these all the way down from Penn. and stay fresh forever. They are pricey but I have no waste and charge more for my dogs. p.s. to find me look for the long lines at noontime Larry

the best are mary ann / s rosens or vienna poppyseed steamed buns, but if your outside chi town they are rough to get without buying the meat too airfreighted
