The two piece, hinged tong, has exposed, sharp edges, above the hinge, that can seriously cut a finger.


The one piece, plastic coated tong is safer by design and easier to grip with food handling gloves.

About the tongs :) Great point. I have the hinged/spring ones that have rolled edges. The one in the pix look very sharp ;( Bad design.

I watched this online this morning and was inspired and entertained at the same time. I wouldn't be so worried about royalties. The mere fact that a hot dog newbie from South Carolina is aware of what you're doing should be proof enough that there is no such thing as bad press!
