True Americans should do this regardless of the TSA.

A friend commands a HAZMAT Team. Before the Insight & Fiesta Bowls, they scoured every inch of the stadiums using dogs and people before the games. They also did it for all the ASU home games.

I pi$$ed off the TSA in Puerto Rico today.  I got the full body scan AND the full body pat down.

You are 100% correct.  But, sometimes it can't be helped.

They have two security lines with two scanners for carry-ons.  So, you put your stuff through the scanner(everything must go, watches, wallets, etc.), then go to a single line for the full body scanner.  In the meantime, you possessions are all backing up and unattended.

So, I asked if I could hold on to my watch and wallet until it was my turn to be scanned.  I was told no.  I asked the TSA guy to look at the chaos at the end of the scanner and said I didn't want to put my stuff in jeopardy of being stolen, and that they needed a better system.  He didn't like that, hence the pat-down after the scan.

And if my watch did go missing, they would tell me to fill out the form on their website
