Hot Fudge Warmer - Has to be another way?

Starting up a concession stand for festivals/fairs. Being a start-up, I want to minimize costs when I can without it being detrimental to the business. So I am looking at hot fudge warmers and I can't believe how expensive they are. It's a such a simple contraption, I am thinking there has to be another option. I really would like to have a pump, but I may have to skip that option at the beginning. Even those that use ladles aren't much better, price wise. I thought of a slow cooker, but not sure if I could get by health inspector plus it may not move as fast as I need. Maybe there is something out there that is similar to the hot fudge pumps, but marketed to be used for another purpose. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have no idea about your health inspector (you might ask her/him, since rules are different in different states) but we use a crock pot on low setting for the chocolate used to coat our S'mores-on-a-stick.

I think what you have to decide is " how big a part of your business is the hot fudge" if you use it on every order then a good dispencer is worth its weight in gold. If its only used a few time a day then its something you could work around. Thats the problem with doing Hot fudge, its good to go thru a lot of it so it stays at a good temp to seve on every order..................Good luck............Bill
