Thanks Tjoe: The one thing I regret after spending so much time in Houston is that I missed out on Goode and Luling after so many good comments by all of you. Houston is a wonderful city but I doubt if I will ever be back there again. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

Well, I have to TOTALLY disagree with the Mikeska's recommendation, and although County Line serves good chow, it's not a place I would recommend as "great bbq". I still want to try Thelma's, but if I remember right, Texianjoe wasn't that impressed with it.

Thelma's was just alright. It does not live up to all the hype. I want to try Burn's. I've always heard good things about it from people I work with that live in that part of town and have said it is better than William's. I'll let you know. joe
