How Frequently Do You Visit Fast Food Places?

Whew! After reading how often some of the posters go, I was beginning to think I was odd , but to go to a fast food place on a regular basis is the last thing in the world that I would ever do.

Used to be several times a month, but now every few months due to unemployment. Kind of miss it too. I do love certain items from certain ff places.

I confess- I like Wendy's chili. When I have been working late and am too tired to cook, I get a large Wendy's chili on my way home. It is actually one of the more healthy fast food items out there. I may do this once every 1-2 weeks.

I wonder why Windy's is the only big FF place that sells chili?

I want to try the new Arbey's 4 for $5 swiss cheese things.

You aren't alone, I like the 99 cent Wendy's Chili a lot.

Does the Costco Snack stand qualify as a FF stop. I can't go into the store without stopping for a Polish Dog and a Coke ($1.50 total) before I leave. I can turn down or really limit the sample stuff they have all over the place, but the Polish Sausage with the condiments they put out (chopped onion, relish, deli-mustard) make for a vital part of the shopping experience for me. Once a week there!

Culver's for Burgers and Tenderloin Sandwiches, usually about once every two weeks, but not as regular as Costco- now that we have a Costco open.

Popeye's Chicken is a 'box' for home sort of stop now and then also.

Sonic Happy Hour Slush at least once a week.(no food there!)

I buy a Large Popeye's RB&R every month or so for lunch. Mostly good. They D/Ced the OR's so I don't go as often as I used to.

Salsailsa, PapaJoe8, and Al, I love Wendy's chili. Burger King tried to offer
chili in my area, but it was not very good. It was back a year or more ago when
they tried to expand their 99 cent meal program.

As a rule: Never buy Wendy's Chili on the front line (walk-in customers) until AFTER the lunch rush UNLESS the location you are visiting is ultra high volume.

I was thinking the same thing. I think those responding never are thinking of chains. The question wasn't worded fast food chains but because that is the forum it was posted in, I assume that's why they responded that way. You can still eat at a FF restaurant w/o it being a chain.

Far less than I used to, except when travelling and there's nothing else available or I'm pressed for time. I only get 30 minutes for lunch and prefer to spend at least some them out walking so that doesn't leave me much time to go out and find something. When I had an hour-long lunch break I was more likely to make a FF run but now I usually bring things from home.

However, here at work we have a refrigerated carousel vending machine that's always stocked with various sandwiches, etc. and I plug some quarters into it several times a week; usually for breakfast. In fact, today's was a 1/4-lb all-beef chili dog that I'm still tasting.

Most of my weekend breakfasts and lunches are the leftovers from weekday dinners.

For those that answered never, I have a question. Since you are so opposed to FF (which is ok with me, BTW) then why are you hanging out reading and posting in the fast food forum? Just to show everyone who posts here how great you are becasue you don't eat FF? Ok, then congratulations. You're better than me. Now stop rubbing it in my face.

I eat at Wendy's about 3 times a week because there is one in the hospital where I work. We have to keep the Heart Hospital full somehow.

The question was "How Frequently do you visit fast food places?" Therefore, I cannot understand why anyone would get upset at posters to Roadfood who have answered the question. I do not believe any posters here rub others in the face over it at all. So what if someone responds "never"?

McD's Had it for a while but now they have their fall cream of broc, beef noodle and chick noodle

CK, no chili ever spoted in the DFW area that I know of. Not sure the soups are available here ether? The A&W has chili but I have not tried it.
