McDonald's salads are a pretty good size. They are in large bowls that are about 10 inches across. A rat could be buried beneath the lettuce and whatnot, because the salads are premade, and there's plenty of time for the little feller to sneak in there before the salad hits the fridge. That being said, $1.7 million dollars sounds like a lot for just finding a dead rodent in a salad that wasn't even eaten. Compensation is definitely in order, but $1.7 million? People should know better than to eat at McDonald's.

We got a Ceaser/Caeser salad just tonite, but in Leavenworth KS...... HOME OF THE BIG HOUSE they dont put in rats. They put in files!
