How many ounces in a #10 can?

I am trying to compare pricing on sauerkraut and my supplier only offers it in #10 cans. I have purchased a bit to get started in 32 oz jar and do not know whether to go with the cans or not. Any input would be great. I feel that I will be going through a lot of it so the quantity in a can vs. jar would be beneficial if the $$$ is right.

Silver Floss. Can't get it her in Ohio. I was my wife's favorite. We used to bring back small and large cans of it whenever we drove up to Connecticut. Of course, we'd also bring back five-pound boxes of Roesseler's hot dogs, too.

Drained weight is what you need to look at to make any comparison.
