How to add a signature?

I searched my profile page and other realted sites and can not locate the how to add a signature, I know when posting there is a box to check if you want your signature added, I am asking how does one write the sginature to have on file so when checking the box it will appear

This subject has been brought up a couple of times before in the forums, but any questions about adding the signature always seem to get ignored. I have a feeling that even though there is a signature box available, it is either impossible or of a very low priority to activate the function.

The question has been answered as I recall. The board owners have opted not to activate that feature.
