These are turnover style fruit or cream pies that are available just about everywhere in New Orleans. They are also easy/non-messy to eat on the run or in the car. Yum!

grew up in New Orleans and my uncle was the local delivery man for Hubig's pies. Besides their wonderful fried pies they also make full size ones. Their cream custard was always my favorite and still leaves me with fond memories.
