never been...probably won't go back...but they did NOT poison me!
What's the big deal? I've had worse, I've had better.

The big deal is that some people feel it necessary to demonstrate the sophistication of their palates by dissing the less than superb while others are willing to admit that sometimes we have to make do. It's nothing more than that.

That's actually another problem with OG. Until the Mafia starts doing hits there, it's hard to accept it as good Italian food.

The pasta is generally overcooked and the red sauces are hideous.

I remember my thought when I went to OG years ago. "Just how bad can yu screw up red sauce and pasta"?

    Apparently, a lot.

Then there is the invariable line "But the salads and breadticks are good". I suppose, compared to the other food they serve there.

The place is horrid. Not because it's a chain- it's just plain awful.

But it probably has good quality control and is consistently awful.

I thought those breadticks looked a little engorged.
