I dont get it??

There has been many occasions where useful information was posted on this thread that would benefit the food industry. Yet someone can just decide it's SPAM and POOF, it's deleted..... Yet it's approved to post about brand names such as Square, Paypal, Food Cost Software, and PVC Sandwich Boards that posters provided us with links to those retail websites. So what's the difference??? Is it some do't want the competition of someone knowing more than they do on a subject?

Isn't this forum for restaurant professionals? Yet most of the forum is on builds. Dont get me wrong, professionals and those that have been through experiences are a valuable assets. Just as the vendors posting new product lines that would benefit us all in this expanding market. If you are not at the top of your game with the influx of competition, you will surely be left behind in this market and be left with a staggering amount of debt!!!!!.

If you're not interested in it certain posts, just keep on scrolling. Don't penalize others just because you are not interested in the topic....  Admins stop deleting these posts, there are people here that do want this information and can utilized it. There is more to this industry that building a truck or trailer, Much more, so much more.

NYC is VERY strict when it comes to electric bikes. Especially delivery bikes...

    WOW!!

So does that mean that when a bike is "sketching" (grabbing onto a moving car) and the car is speeding that the biker gets ticketed also??? :D

Good question. Bicycle messengers are a blur. I doubt the police cars are faster than them....just by human pedal power...and a real set of something.

A NYC Chinese restaurant actually had their liquor license denied because electric bike delivery vehicles.

It's a great time for our friend G-Bike to come back and shed some light on the subject. Hopefully.

Hoboken NJ is very bike friendly (they thank you for biking)...because the parking situation for cars is so so so bad. There are plenty of electric bikes but as far as the law and enforcement issues...sometimes it's very complicated and very fluid.

Hey NYC never know for their smarts.... LOL take a look at their licencing.. Have to pay 20-30k on the blackmarket, for something that only cost $300=/-. And it's going to spead with all the newbies coming in.

I see a three-wheel yellow electric bike all the time (in Jersey City) that looks exactly like the G-Bike city model. I still love the BMW model. It looks just like a motorcycle with a few modifications. Lol

I have always been fascinated with  Tuk-tuk's. I just shaven gotten the nerve to turn my NYC cart into a 3 wheeler. Would not be hard, just has to be low enough

    That's a great idea!

One of the Vendy award finalists has a "vision" for trying to get something like this on the street...

    http://www.tuktukfactory.nl/Vendo.html

If NYC thinks electric vehicles are dangerous...they have never been on the streets around 7pm when vendors are rolling carts "home" through the city...by hand. Marone! Watch out!

I've never seen a converted tuk tuk for vending here, I think probably too expensive.  Most use a side car design like in this video:

I don't think you'd ever get either licensed or perhaps?
