I have 6 email addresses

But the same crud shows on 4 of them.  Nevermind.  Just griping. 

I have two, and apparently there's a lot of people out there who think my penis should be big enough to buy and wear a watch, and borrow money. I can't say I disagree, but realistically it ain't going to happen, so stop sending me the e-mails...

I too have 6 email accounts

I have one that is just my spam account (any time a site asks for email)
that one gts hit with 200 to 400 emails a day... ALL SPAM

3 of them are from websites I am the master of and rarely get emails there and never SPAM (I never give these out)

My cable company/internet provider email gets SPAM about 3 times a week but only 4 or 5 emails a week

My personal email (I rarely give out)

today had 11 emails

2 pm notices from RF
2 from family
5 from facebook
2 from SPAM


I check the SPAM account about once a month to delete things
the website accounts I have forwarded to my personal account so no need to check them

I feel your pain about the same crud, that is why I started using the one account for anything I knew would lead to SPAM

With my first ISP, I was overrun with SPAM. The spam started when I sent a request for a memory upgrade recommendation to a manufacturer who sold through now Chapter 7 CompUSA. They wanted all sorts of information on my request. Next thing I know, I get SPAM. Then, I got a better deal from another ISP.
 
This time, I was smart. For those people that demand an email address, I picked a hyphenated name that contains no dirty words, but if you say it out loud fast, is a sexually suggestive term. This I give to women who absolutely, positively demand an email address. Then, I established I_P_Standing@...... for companies and banks I deal with. I look in there once every few weeks. Mostly solicitations for additional business. If they really need to get hold of me, let them send me a letter.
 
I only give my main email address, the only one I frequently check,  to personal friends. There is very little junk sent to that account When I get SPAM there, I get the same SPAM in all my accounts, just like Adjudicator.

I stupidly turned on the bounceback feature on my ISP email once when I went on vacation because I took a REAL vacation without bringing my laptop (weird, huh?) and didn't want people to think I was ignoring their email for two weeks.  After being inundated for a month, I finally had to change my address.

I think I'm down to four I use regularly now, and somehow I only get spam in my Hotmail.

Well I only have 1 ohone.  I get the same calls at least once a day.  One si to give me one last warning that my warranty on our 10 year old car is up and the other to let me know i won a cruise.  Im on the dont call list but they cant do anything because there is no way to track them!

Yeah on that car warranty one and their ilk, they come through an Intenet gateway, so they can't be traced using normal methods. I call the FCC on the phone and complain to a live person about these. This will document the need for new laws and technical standards.

My business address does an excellent job of filtering.  It's 100% spam free.

My personal Gmail also is spam free.  I have to give kudo's to Gmail, whatever they did, they did right.

My hotmail is a cluster of spam.  I've just given up on it.
