I have decided!

I have been working long and hard to come up with an easily vended food item and the choice is Fried bologna, porkroll and salami sandwiches. Andy Capp fries and Stewarts soda. Any comments or suggestions? I have also settled on a cart from Top Dog Carts and a EZ-UP Shelter. Starting with car dealers, realtors and the like movbing to wards ball games and small fairs and festivals. I would love any input!

While in college, my son worked for a guy who had a weekend shaved ice business in the Pittsburg area. Apparently there was no shortage of weekend festivals and events to attend. He worked almost every weekend in the summer spring and fall. They did quite well and were VERY generous with my son.

Good luck!!!!! Pittsburgh IS a very friendly place....I lived 20 miles north until I was 18 and went to college. You might want to work kielbasa and saeurkraut sandwiches into the mix...you know how those 'Burghers LOVE their kielbasa.

When and where is the grand opening? Keep us posted and again, good luck!

Congrats on comming up with an idea there! Hope it swamps ya with business..
BUT, I hate to be the Devils Advocate here.. How long does it take to fry up that bologna? Somehow it seems that it would not have more then a few minutes hold time... Thus leading to it being cooked to order? Also, I normally see carts with steam tables and/or BBQ grills... Are you going to pan fry them then?

Hillbilly, I sure hope your son was going to WVU and not Pitt
