Just reading the police blotter from the Georgetown Times (SC) i came across this. Fake $100 bill The owner of Georgetown Seafood on Highmarket Street said a woman tried to purchase two fish with a $100 bill July 14. He said he could tell the bill was fake and he could not return it because it had to be turned over to police. The woman said “OK” and then paid for her purchase with a food stamp card. It's very laid back down there, believe me.

Similar to the woman who tried to buy some things from me.
She gave me one credit card after another, all being declined. She probably tried six different cards.
Then she asked....
Will you take a check?
As if.

There were a couple of guys caught in Kingsport, Tn a few weeks ago passing fake $20 bills at the McDonald's and Taco Bell drive-thru. They only bought thing off the value menu to maximize the change. The police said the bills were "obviously fake" and they found an HP printer in their motel room.
